The summer is almost over in my part of the world!! :-(

This year my family has been in Greece for our summer vacation. We had two lovely weeks on the island called Naxos. The weather was sooo lovely and everything was just perfect. I will post some pictures later. After Greece we went as usual down to our summerhome at Lyngør - Sørlandet(The southern part of Norway). While we were there we had almost rain every day.... Not at all what we hoped for really, but never the less - we enjoyed our stay as we always do. Our summerhouse is a little bit more than 2 hour by car from us. It is at Gjeving close to a little idyllic place called Lyngør. Lyngør – the best preserved village in Norway and Europe is a well preserved island community. Characteristic of the village are its white-painted wooden houses, distinctive small, chugging fishing boats, and smooth polished rocks.This is a unique spot. One of the things I love about Norway is that we really have 4 different seasons... winter with snow when all the sounds outside is like wrapped in cotton, the spring when all the snow is melting and tiny flowers snart growing up through the last snow and the first clear green colours starts showing all over, then the summer comes with sunshine and warm lazy summerdays when it does not get dark in the evening before around 11pm, then at last the autumn with the sharp clear air that feels so good to breath and the colours are so amazing!!!

I feel so greatful to be born up here in the north!!!
